The most successful learners are part of a collaborative community.  We strive to work with you to provide the best learning opportunities for your children.  If at any time you have any worries or concerns, please speak to your child’s class teacher or Mrs Williams without delay.   We will address your needs immediately.

Alternatively, appointments may also be made by contacting the school Principal, Mrs Williams, on 02870352880.

Parents and pupils due to start P1 in September are invited to an open morning in June where Mrs  Williams and the P1 teacher, Mrs Wilson, will talk to the parents about starting school in September, providing them with important information and also how to make the transition form a pre-school setting to primary school as easy as possible for the children. During this information session the children have the opportunity to spend time in the P1 classroom with present P1 pupils and become familiar with their surroundings. Primary 1 pupils are quickly settled into the school day in September. Their school day for the first two weeks  is from 9am- 1.15pm and from week three the pupils stay until 2pm.

Any concerns or worries will be dealt with promptly by the Principal and the class teacher, please do not hesitate in contacting us about anything that arises.

Although we have only been attending a few weeks, the benefits for the pupils are already evident. Please take time to watch the following video to see how this service has assisted other children in Northern Ireland. We are delighted to have developed a partnership with RDA to allow the pupils of Castleroe PS to be in a position to take advantage of this invaluable service.
